جماع أبواب الركعتين قبل الفجر وما فيها من السننChapters on Two Rak‘ahs before Fajr and their Sunnahs
(464) بَابُ الْمُسَارَعَةِ إِلَى الرَّكْعَتَيْنِ قَبْلَ الْفَجْرِ اقْتِدَاءً بِالنَّبِيِّ الْمُصْطَفَى صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ
The chapter on hastening to pray the two units before Fajr, following the Prophet
Hadith 1108
نَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الأَشَجُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَفْصٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ غِيَاثٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، قَالَتْ : " مَا رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِلَى شَيْءٍ مِنَ الْخَيْرِ أَسْرَعُ مِنْهُ إِلَى الرَّكْعَتَيْنِ قَبْلَ الْفَجْرِ ، وَلا إِلَى غَنِيمَةٍ "
Lady Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates that I never saw the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) hasten in any good deed or in the distribution of war booty as much as he would hasten in performing the two rak'ahs before Fajr.
