Hadith 1087
حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مَنِيعٍ ، بِخَبَرٍ غَرِيبٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي زَائِدَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " بَادِرُوا الصُّبْحَ بِالْوِتْرِ "
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Perform the Witr prayer before dawn."
إِذِ الْوِتْرُ وَقْتُهُ اللَّيْلُ، لَا اللَّيْلُ وَالنَّهَارُ وَلَا بَعْضُ النَّهَارِ أَيْضًا.
Because the time for Witr prayer is at night; the day, the night and day, or any part of the day is not its time.
Hadith 1087
إِذِ الْوِتْرُ وَقْتُهُ اللَّيْلُ، لَا اللَّيْلُ وَالنَّهَارُ وَلَا بَعْضُ النَّهَارِ أَيْضًا.

Hadith 1088
حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مَنِيعٍ ، وَزِيَادُ بْنُ أَيُّوبَ ، قَالا : حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي زَائِدَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَاصِمٌ الأَحْوَلُ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ شَقِيقٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " بَادِرُوا الصُّبْحَ بِالْوِتْرِ " وَقَالَ أَحْمَدُ : بَادِرْ
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Hasten to perform Witr before dawn appears." In the narration of Ahmad, (the singular form is used): "So hasten."
Hadith 1089
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُوسَى ، حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ الأَعْلَى ، نَا مَعْمَرُ ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي نَضْرَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " أَوْتِرُوا قَبْلَ أَنْ تُصْبِحُوا " حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُوسَى ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَامِرٍ ، نَا عَلِيٌّ يَعْنِي ابْنَ الْمُبَارَكِ ، عَنْ يَحْيَى ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو نَضْرَةَ الْعَوْقِيُّ ، أَنَّ أَبَا سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ أَخْبَرَهُمْ ، أَنَّهُمْ سَأَلُوا النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنِ الْوِتْرِ ، فَقَالَ : " أَوْتِرُوا قَبْلَ الصُّبْحِ "
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Perform Witr before the morning comes." Janab Abu Nazrah 'Awfi reports that Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) told him that he asked the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) about Witr, so he (peace be upon him) said: "Perform Witr before the morning comes."
