(445) بَابُ التَّرْغِيبِ فِي الْوِتْرِ وَاسْتِحْبَابِهِ إِذِ اللَّهُ يُحِبُّهُ
The chapter encouraging Witr and its recommendation, as Allah loves it
Hadith 1071
حَدَّثَنَا نَصْرُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْجَهْضَمِيُّ ، وَزِيَادُ بْنُ يَحْيَى الْحَسَّانِيُّ قَالَ زِيَادٌ ثنا ، وَقَالَ نَصْرٌ ، أنا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الصَّمَدِ ، حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " إِنَّ اللَّهَ وِتْرٌ يُحِبُّ الْوِتْرَ "
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) that he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Indeed, Allah Almighty is One (Odd) and He loves odd (numbers)."
