(441) بَابُ ذِكْرِ تَسْمِيَةِ سَجْدَتَيِ السَّهْوِ الْمُرْغِمَتَيْنِ؛ إِذْ هُمَا تُرْغِمَانِ الشَّيْطَانَ
The chapter on naming the two prostrations of forgetfulness as those that humiliate Satan
Hadith 1063
أنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ بْنِ أَبِي رِزْمَةَ ، أَخْبَرَنَا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ مُوسَى ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ كَيْسَانَ ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " سَمَّى سَجْدَتَيِ السَّهْوِ الْمُرْغِمَتَيْنِ "
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) called the two prostrations of forgetfulness "al-Murghimatayn" (the two that disgrace and humiliate).
