جماع أبواب الصلاة على البسطChapters on Praying on Mats
(422) بَابُ الْمُصَلِّي يَشُكُّ فِي الْحَدَثِ، وَالْأَمْرِ بِالْمُضِيِّ فِي صَلَاتِهِ وَتَرْكِ الِانْصِرَافِ عَنِ الصَّلَاةِ
The chapter on a praying person doubting impurity, and the command to continue praying and not leave the prayer
Hadith 1018
نَا عَبْدُ الْجَبَّارِ بْنُ الْعَلاءِ ، نَا سُفْيَانُ ، نَا الزُّهْرِيُّ ، أَخْبَرَنِي عَبَّادُ بْنُ تَمِيمٍ ، عَنْ عَمِّهِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ ، قَالَ : سَأَلْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنِ الرَّجُلِ يَجِدُ الشَّيْءَ وَهُوَ فِي الصَّلاةِ ، فَقَالَ : " لا يَنْصَرِفُ حَتَّى يَسْمَعَ صَوْتًا ، أَوْ يَجِدَ رِيحًا "
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Zaid (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that I asked the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) about a person who feels something during prayer. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "He should not break his prayer until he hears a sound or perceives a smell."
