2 hadith
Hadith 997
Sayyiduna Imran bin Husayn (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that we were on a journey with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), then he related the hadith about missing the prayer due to sleep and said that then the call to prayer (adhan) was given for the prayer, then the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) led the people in prayer until the sun had risen.
Hadith 998
Sayyiduna Bilal (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that we were on a journey with the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), and he slept until the sun had risen. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) ordered Sayyiduna Bilal (may Allah be pleased with him), so he gave the call to prayer (adhan). (The other companions performed ablution, then they offered two rak‘ahs, then they performed the obligatory morning prayer.) Imam Abu Bakr (may Allah have mercy on him) says that the wording of the narration of Hazrat Abdullah bin Mas‘ud is as follows: Then the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) ordered Sayyiduna Bilal (may Allah be pleased with him), so he gave the call to prayer (adhan), then he gave the iqamah, and the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) led us in prayer.
