(404) بَابُ ذِكْرِ الدَّلِيلِ عَلَى أَنَّ أَمْرَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِإِعَادَةِ تِلْكَ الصَّلَاةِ الَّتِي قَدْ نَامَ عَنْهَا
404 Chapter: Evidence That the Prophet (peace be upon him) Commanded Repeating the Missed Prayer.

Hadith 991
Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) was asked about a person who sleeps through the prayer or forgets it (so what should he do?). The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Its expiation is that when he remembers it, he should perform it."
Hadith 992
Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever forgets to perform a prayer or sleeps through it (without performing it), its expiation is that he should offer it as soon as he remembers."
Hadith 993
Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever forgets to perform a prayer should offer it when he remembers it; this is its expiation."
