Hadith 975

بُنْدَارٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا
يَحْيَى ، عَنْ
شُعْبَةَ ، عَنْ
حَمْزَةَ الضَّبِّيِّ ، عَنْ
أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ " إِذَا نَزَلَ مَنْزِلا لَمْ يَرْتَحِلْ حَتَّى يُصَلِّيَ الظُّهْرَ " ، قُلْتُ : وَإِنْ كَانَ بِنِصْفِ النَّهَارِ ؟ قَالَ : وَإِنْ كَانَ بِنِصْفِ النَّهَارِ
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) that when the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would halt at any place, he would depart from there after performing the Zuhr prayer. (Hamzah says) I asked, "Even if it was midday (the time of noon)?" He (i.e., Sayyiduna Anas, may Allah be pleased with him) replied, "(Yes,) even if it was the time of noon."
