جماع أبواب الأفعال المكروهة فى الصلاة التى قد نهي عنها المصليChapters on Disliked Acts in Prayer
(366) بَابُ ذِكْرِ نَقْصِ الصَّلَاةِ بِالِالْتِفَاتِ فِيهَا،
366 Chapter: Mentioning the Deficiency in Prayer Due to Turning Away in It.
Hadith Q931
وَالدَّلِيلِ عَلَى أَنَّ الِالْتِفَاتَ فِيهَا لَا يُوجِبُ إِعَادَتَهَا
And the explanation of the evidence that turning the face during prayer does not make it obligatory to repeat the prayer.
Hadith 931
نَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ الْعِجْلِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ يَعْنِي ابْنَ مُوسَى ، عَنْ شَيْبَانَ ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمْرِو بْنِ تَمَّامٍ الْمِصْرِيُّ ، نَا يُوسُفُ بْنُ عَدِيٍّ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الأَحْوَصِ جَمِيعًا ، عَنْ أَشْعَثَ وَهُوَ ابْنُ أَبِي الشَّعْثَاءِ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ مَسْرُوقٍ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، قَالَتْ : سَأَلْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنِ الْتِفَاتِ الرَّجُلِ فِي الصَّلاةِ ، فَقَالَ : " هُوَ اخْتِلاسٌ يَخْتَلِسُهُ الشَّيْطَانُ مِنْ صَلاةِ الْعَبْدِ " وَفِي حَدِيثِ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ عَنِ الالْتِفَاتِ فِي الصَّلاةِ
Lady Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates that I asked the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) about looking here and there during prayer. He (peace be upon him) said: "That is snatching, which Satan snatches from a servant's prayer." In the narration of Ubaidullah, the words are: I asked about turning one's face during prayer.
