Hadith 915
Imam Abu Bakr, may Allah have mercy on him, says that I have previously narrated this hadith from Sayyiduna Mu'ayqib, may Allah be pleased with him, from the Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, that he said: "If you must straighten the pebbles, then do it only once."
Hadith 916
Sayyiduna Abu Dharr (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that I asked the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) about everything, to the extent that I even asked him about touching (arranging) pebbles during prayer. So the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Arrange them once, or leave them (let them remain as they are)."
