Sahih Ibn Khuzaymah
جماع أبواب الأفعال المكروهة فى الصلاة التى قد نهي عنها المصليChapters on Disliked Acts in Prayer
(349) بَابُ ذِكْرِ الْعِلَّةِ الَّتِي لَهَا زُجِرَ عَنِ الِاخْتِصَارِ فِي الصَّلَاةِ،
349 Chapter: The Reason for Prohibiting Shortening the Prayer.
Hadith Q909
إِذْ هِيَ رَاحَةُ أَهْلِ النَّارِ، بِاللَّهِ نَتَعَوَّذُ مِنَ النَّارِ
Because this is the manner and style of resting of the people of Hell; we seek refuge with Allah Almighty from the fire of Hell.
Hadith 909
نَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْمُغِيرَةِ الْمِصْرِيُّ ، نَا أَبُو صَالِحٍ الْحَرَّانِيُّ ، نَا عِيسَى بْنُ يُونُسَ ، عَنْ هِشَامٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ سِيرِينَ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " الاخْتِصَارُ فِي الصَّلاةِ رَاحَةُ أَهْلِ النَّارِ "
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Placing hands on the side (hip) during prayer is the way of comfort and relaxation of the people of Hell."
