جماع أبواب سترة المصليChapters on the Sutrah for the Praying Person
(303) بَابُ ذِكْرِ الْبَيَانِ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِنَّمَا أَرَادَ بِالْمَرْأَةِ الَّتِي قَرَنَهَا إِلَى الْكَلْبِ الْأَسْوَدِ وَالْحِمَارِ وَأَعْلَمَ أَنَّهَا تَقْطَعُ الصَّلَاةَ، الْحَائِضَ دُونَ الطَّاهِرِ، وَهَذَا مِنْ أَلْفَاظِ الْمُفَسِّرِ
303 Chapter: Clarification that the Prophet (peace be upon him) Meant by the Woman Who Cuts off the Prayer, the Menstruating Woman, Not the Pure One, and This Is from the Explained Statements.
Hadith 832
نَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ هَاشِمٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ ، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " يَقْطَعُ الصَّلاةَ الْكَلْبُ ، وَالْمَرْأَةُ الْحَائِضُ "
Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates from the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) that he (peace be upon him) said: "A dog and a menstruating woman invalidate the prayer."
