Hadith 825
نَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الأَشَجُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَفْصٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ غِيَاثٍ ، عَنِ الأَعْمَشِ ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، عَنِ الأَسْوَدِ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ؛ وَالأَعْمَشُ ، عَنْ أَبِي الضُّحَى ، عَنْ مَسْرُوقٍ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، قَالَتْ : " كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُصَلِّي وَأَنَا مُعْتَرِضَةٌ بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ ، فَإِذَا أَرَدْتُ أَنْ أَقُومَ أَنْسَلُّ مِنْ قِبَلِ رِجْلَيَّ "
Lady Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) used to pray while I was lying in front of him, and when I wanted to get up, I would quietly slip away from the side of my feet.
Hadith 826
ناهُ الدَّوْرَقِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ ، نَا الأَعْمَشُ ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، عَنِ الأَسْوَدِ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، قَالَتْ : رُبَّمَا رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " يُصَلِّي بِاللَّيْلِ وَسَطَ السَّرِيرِ ، وَأَنَا عَلَى السَّرِيرِ بَيْنَهُ وَبَيْنَ الْقِبْلَةِ ، تَكُونُ لِي الْحَاجَةُ ، فَأَنْسَلُّ مِنْ قِبَلِ رِجْلَيِ السَّرِيرِ كَرَاهَةَ أَنْ أَسْتَقْبِلَهُ بِوَجْهِي "
Lady Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates that I would sometimes see the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) standing in the middle of the bed at night, performing prayer, while I would be lying on the bed between him (peace be upon him) and the Qiblah. If I needed something, I would slip away from the foot of the bed, disliking that I should turn my face towards him (peace be upon him).
