Hadith 811
Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that Abu al-Qasim (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When any one of you prays, he should place something in front of him." And on one occasion he said: "He should place something in front of his face. If he does not find anything, then he should plant a stick. And if even a stick is not available, then he should draw a line. Then nothing that passes in front of him will harm him." Muhammad bin Mansur al-Jawaz narrated these words: "He should place something in front of his face." The rest of the narration is like the previous narration.
Hadith 812
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) that he said, Imam Abu Bakr (may Allah have mercy on him) says, but the authentic narration is the one that Bishr bin Mufaddal has narrated, Mu'ammar and Thawri have also narrated from 'Amr bin Harith in the same way, but both of them have narrated from the father of 'Amr bin Harith instead of his grandfather.
