Hadith 801
Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates that I saw the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) praying towards his mount (camel), making it a sutrah. Hazrat Nafi’ (may Allah have mercy on him) narrates that I have seen Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) praying towards his mount.
Hadith 802
Ashaj and Harun bin Ishaq did not mention seeing in their narration; both say that (the Prophet, peace be upon him) used to pray facing his mount, and Abu Saeed says that the Prophet, peace be upon him, used to pray making his camel a sutrah (barrier), and Sayyiduna Ibn Umar, may Allah be pleased with them both, used to do the same.
