جماع أبواب الأذان والإقامةChapters on Adhan and Iqamah
(216) بَابُ إِدْخَالِ الْقَدَمِ الْيُسْرَى بَيْنَ الْفَخِذِ الْيُمْنَى وَالسَّاقِ فِي الْجُلُوسِ فِي التَّشَهُّدِ.
216 Chapter: Placing the Left Foot between the Right Thigh and Shin while Sitting in Tashahhud.
Hadith 696
نا يُوسُفُ بْنُ مُوسَى الْقَطَّانُ ، حَدَّثَنَا الْعَلاءُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْجَبَّارِ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَاحِدِ بْنُ زِيَادٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ حَكِيمٍ ، حَدَّثَنِي عَامِرُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، قَالَ : كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " إِذَا قَعَدَ فِي الصَّلاةِ ، جَعَلَ قَدَمَهُ الْيُسْرَى بَيْنَ فَخِذِهِ وَسَاقِهِ ، وَوَضَعَ يَدِهِ الْيُسْرَى عَلَى رُكْبَتِهِ الْيُسْرَى ، وَوَضَعَ يَدَهُ الْيُمْنَى عَلَى فَخِذِهِ الْيُمْنَى ، وَأَشَارَ بِأُصْبُعِهِ " . وَأَشَارَ عَبْدُ الْوَاحِدِ بِأُصْبُعِهِ السَّبَّابَةِ
Hazrat Aamir bin Abdullah bin Zubair narrates from his respected father, who says that when the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) sat in (Tashahhud) during prayer, he would place his left foot between his thigh and shin, and would place his left hand on his left knee and his right hand on his right thigh, and would gesture with his finger. Abdulwahid gestured with his index finger.
