(214) بَابُ الزَّجْرِ عَنِ الِاعْتِمَادِ عَلَى الْيَدِ فِي الْجُلُوسِ فِي الصَّلَاةِ.
214 Chapter: Prohibition of Leaning on the Hand while Sitting in Prayer.
Hadith 692
نا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سَهْلِ بْنِ عَسْكَرٍ ، وَالْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ ، قَالا : حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ ، أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ ، عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ أُمَيَّةَ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، قَالَ : " نَهَى النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا جَلَسَ الرَّجُلُ فِي الصَّلاةِ أَنْ يَعْتَمِدَ عَلَى يَدِهِ الْيُسْرَى " . وَقَالَ الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ : " نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنْ يَعْتَمِدَ الرَّجُلُ عَلَى يَدَيْهِ فِي الصَّلاةِ "
Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates that the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) forbade a person from leaning on his left hand while sitting in prayer. In the narration of Hazrat Husain bin Mahdi, it is mentioned that the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) forbade a person from leaning on his hands during prayer.
