جماع أبواب الأذان والإقامةChapters on Adhan and Iqamah
(203) بَابُ الْأَمْرِ فِي الِاجْتِهَادِ فِي الدُّعَاءِ فِي السُّجُودِ فِي الصَّلَاةِ الْمَكْتُوبَةِ، وَمَا يُرْجَى فِي ذَلِكَ الْوَقْتِ مِنْ إِجَابَةِ الدُّعَاءِ.
203 Chapter: Command to Strive in Supplication during Prostration in Obligatory Prayer, and the Hope for Answered Prayers at that Time.
Hadith 674
نا عَلِيُّ بْنُ حُجْرٍ ، نا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ ، وَسُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ . ح وَحَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْجَبَّارِ بْنُ الْعَلاءِ ، وَسَعِيدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ، قَالا : حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ سُحَيْمٍ ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مَعْبَدٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، قَالَ : كَشَفَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ السِّتَارَةَ وَالنَّاسُ صُفُوفٌ خَلْفَ أَبِي بَكْرٍ ، فَقَالَ : " وَأَمَّا السُّجُودُ ، فَاجْتَهِدُوا فِي الدُّعَاءِ ، فَقَمِنٌ أَنْ يُسْتَجَابَ لَكُمْ "
Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) lifted the curtain of his blessed chamber while the people were praying behind Sayyiduna Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him). So the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "As for the prostrations, make supplication therein with great effort and striving, for it is more likely that your supplications will be accepted."
