Sahih Ibn Khuzaymah

Sayyiduna Abbas bin Sahl Sa’idi (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that some Ansari companions gathered at one place, among them were Sayyiduna Sahl bin Sa’d Sa’idi, Abu Humayd Sa’idi, and Abu Usaid Sa’idi (may Allah be pleased with them). They mentioned the prayer of the Noble Prophet (peace be upon him). So Sayyiduna Abu Humayd (may Allah be pleased with him) said, “Allow me to describe it to you, for I am the most knowledgeable among you about it.” They said, “Then describe it.” He said, “I saw the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) perform ablution excellently, then he began the prayer,” and thus he narrated part of the hadith. And he said, “Then when he (peace be upon him) performed prostration, he firmly placed his forehead and nose on the ground, and kept his arms away from his sides, then he (peace be upon him) raised his head from the prostration.” (After hearing this narration) all the companions said, “The prayer of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) was like this.”
