Hadith 634
Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates that the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) was commanded to prostrate on seven (parts): his face, his two hands, his two knees, and his two feet, and he (peace be upon him) was forbidden from gathering up his hair or clothes.
Hadith 635
The Imam narrated, through his esteemed teacher Makhzumi’s chain, a narration from Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) similar to the one mentioned above, but he reported these words: “or that you (ﷺ) gather your clothes or hair (this has been prohibited).” Hazrat Tawus (may Allah have mercy on him) used to pass his hand over his forehead and nose and say that this is one and the same limb.
Hadith 636
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "I have been commanded to prostrate on seven parts, and not to gather my hair or clothes. (Those seven parts are:) the forehead and the nose, both hands, both knees, and both feet."
