(179) بَابُ الْأَمْرِ بِالسُّجُودِ عَلَى الْأَعْضَاءِ السَّبْعَةِ اللَّوَاتِي يَسْجُدْنَ مَعَ الْمُصَلِّي إِذَا سَجَدَ.
Chapter 179: Command to prostrate on the seven body parts
Hadith 632
نا بِشْرُ بْنُ مُعَاذٍ الْعَقَدِيُّ ، أنا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ ، عَنْ طَاوُسٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " أُمِرْتُ أَنْ أَسْجُدَ عَلَى سَبْعَةٍ ، وَلا أَكُفُّ شَعَرًا وَلا ثَوْبًا "
Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "I have been commanded to prostrate on seven body parts, and (I have been commanded) not to gather my hair and clothes."
Hadith 633
نا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ الْمِقْدَامِ الْعِجْلِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ زُرَيْعٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، وَرُوحُ بْنُ الْقَاسِمِ ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ ، عَنْ طَاوُسٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " أُمِرْتُ أَنْ أَسْجُدَ عَلَى سَبْعَةِ أَعْظَمٍ ، وَلا أَكُفُّ شَعَرًا وَلا ثَوْبًا "
Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates from the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) that he (peace be upon him) said: "I have been commanded to prostrate on seven bones, and not to gather (lift up) my hair and clothes."
