(176) بَابُ الْبَدْءِ بِرَفْعِ الْيَدَيْنِ مِنَ الْأَرْضِ قَبْلَ الرُّكْبَتَيْنِ عِنْدَ رَفْعِ الرَّأْسِ مِنَ السُّجُودِ.
Chapter 176: Raising the hands from the ground before the knees when rising from prostration
Hadith 629
نا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى ، وَأَحْمَدُ بْنُ سِنَانٍ ، وَرَجَاءُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْعُذْرِيُّ ، وَعَلِيُّ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ ، قَالُوا : حَدَّثَنَا سَهْلُ بْنُ هَارُونَ ، أَخْبَرَنَا شَرِيكُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، عَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ كُلَيْبٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ وَائِلِ بْنِ حُجْرٍ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ " يَضَعُ رُكْبَتَيْهِ قَبْلَ يَدَيْهِ ، وَيَرْفَعُ يَدَيْهِ قَبْلَ رُكْبَتَيْهِ إِذَا رَفَعَ "
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Wa'il bin Hujr (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), (when performing prostration), would place his knees on the ground before his hands, and when rising (from prostration), he would lift his hands before his knees.
