(98) بَابُ افْتِتَاحِ الْقِرَاءَةِ (بِالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ).
Chapter 98: Beginning recitation with "Alhamdulillahi Rabbil ‘Alamin"
Hadith 491
نا بِشْرُ بْنُ مُعَاذٍ الْعَقَدِيُّ ، نا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، وَأَبَا بَكْرٍ ، وَعُمَرَ ، وَعُثْمَانَ كَانُوا " يَسْتَفْتِحُونَ الْقِرَاءَةَ بِ : الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ سورة الفاتحة آية 2 "
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that indeed the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), Sayyiduna Abu Bakr, Umar, and Uthman (may Allah be pleased with them) used to begin the recitation from « الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ ».
Hadith 492
نا بُنْدَارٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ ، نا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، وَأَبَا بَكْرٍ ، وَعُمَرَ ، وَعُثْمَانَ كَانُوا " يَسْتَفْتِحُونَ الْقِرَاءَةَ بِ : الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ سورة الفاتحة آية 2 "
