(79) بَابُ الرُّخْصَةِ فِي رَفْعِ الْيَدَيْنِ تَحْتَ الثِّيَابِ فِي الْبَرْدِ وَتَرْكِ إِخْرَاجِهِمَا مِنَ الثِّيَابِ عِنْدَ رَفْعِهِمَا.
Chapter 79: Permissibility of raising the hands under the garment in cold weather and not taking them out when raising them
Hadith 457
نا سَعِيدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْمَخْزُومِيُّ ، نا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ كُلَيْبٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ وَائِلِ بْنِ حُجْرٍ ، قَالَ : " صَلَّيْتُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَأَصْحَابِهِ ، فَرَأَيْتُهُمْ يَرْفَعُونَ أَيْدِيَهُمْ فِي الْبَرَانِسِ "
Sayyiduna Wa'il bin Hujr (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that I prayed with the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) and his noble companions, and I saw them performing Raf' al-Yadayn (raising the hands) in their shirts (or cloaks) with caps.
