(76) بَابُ إِيجَابِ اسْتِقْبَالِ الْقِبْلَةِ لِلصَّلَاةِ.
Chapter 76: Obligation to face the qiblah in prayer
Hadith 454
نا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عِيسَى ، نا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ نُمَيْرٍ . ح وَحَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ الْجُنَيْدِ ، نا عِيسَى بْنُ يُونُسَ ، قَالا : حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ ، حَدَّثَنِي سَعِيدٌ الْمَقْبُرِيُّ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، أَنَّ رَجُلا دَخَلَ الْمَسْجِدَ فَصَلَّى ، ثُمَّ جَاءَ فَسَلَّمَ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ ، وَقَالَ : فَقَالَ لَهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " إِذَا قُمْتَ إِلَى الصَّلاةِ ، فَأَسْبِغِ الْوُضُوءَ ، ثُمَّ اسْتَقْبِلِ الْقِبْلَةَ فَكَبِّرْ " ، وَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ بِطُولِهِ ، هَذَا لَفْظُ حَدِيثِ ابْنِ نُمَيْرٍ
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that a man entered the mosque and performed prayer, then he came to the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and greeted him with salam. Then the complete hadith was narrated. And it is mentioned that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said to him: "When you stand for prayer, perform complete ablution, then face the Qiblah and say « اللهُ أَكْبَرُ »." And he narrated the entire hadith. These are the words of the narration of Ibn Numayr.
