(62) بَابُ صِفَةِ الدُّعَاءِ عِنْدَ مَسْأَلَةِ اللَّهِ- عَزَّ وَجَلَّ- لِلنَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مُحَمَّدٍ الْوَسِيلَةَ، وَاسْتِحْقَاقِ الدَّاعِي بِتِلْكَ الدَّعْوَةِ الشَّفَاعَةَ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ.
Chapter 62: Description of the supplication for the Prophet’s intercession after the adhan, and the reward of intercession on the Day of Judgment
Hadith 420
نا مُوسَى بْنُ سَهْلٍ الرَّمْلِيُّ ، نا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعَيْبُ بْنُ أَبِي حَمْزَةَ ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْمُنْكَدِرِ ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، قَالَ : قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " مَنْ قَالَ إِذَا سَمِعَ النِّدَاءَ : اللَّهُمَّ رَبَّ هَذِهِ الدَّعْوَةِ التَّامَّةِ ، وَالصَّلاةِ الْقَائِمَةِ ، آتِ مُحَمَّدًا الْوَسِيلَةَ وَالْفَضِيلَةَ ، وَابْعَثْهُ الْمَقَامَ الْمَحْمُودَ الَّذِي وَعَدْتَهُ ، إِلا حَلَّتْ لَهُ الشَّفَاعَةُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ "
Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with both of them) narrates that the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever, after hearing the adhan, supplicates: « اَللّٰهُمَّ رَبَّ هَذِهِ الدَّعْوَةِ التَّامَّةِ، وَالصَّلاَةِ القَائِمَةِ، آتِ مُحَمَّدًا الوَسِيلَةَ وَالفَضِيلَةَ، وَابْعَثْهُ مَقَامًا مَحْمُودًا الَّذِي وَعَدْتَهُ » . 'O Allah, Lord of this perfect call and the established prayer, grant Muhammad (peace be upon him) the means and the elevated rank, and raise him to the praiseworthy station which You have promised him,' then my intercession will be obligatory for that person on the Day of Resurrection."
