Abdur Rahman bin Abi Sa’sa’ah narrates from Sayyiduna Abu Sa’id (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said: When you are in the wilderness, give the adhan (call to prayer) in a loud voice, because I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: “Whatever tree, clod of earth, stone, jinn, or human hears the voice of the mu’adhdhin (caller to prayer), they will bear witness for him.” Marrah says that Abdullah bin Abdur Rahman Abi Sa’sa’ah narrated this hadith to me; he says that my father narrated this hadith to me, and he was an orphan under the care of Sayyiduna Abu Sa’id (may Allah be pleased with him), while his mother was with Sayyiduna Abu Sa’id (may Allah be pleased with him) as his wife.
Hadith 390
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The sins of the muezzin are forgiven up to the extent his voice reaches. And every fresh and dry thing will bear witness for him. And for the one who attends the (congregational) prayer, twenty-five good deeds are written for him and the sins between the two prayers are forgiven for him." Imam Abu Bakr (may Allah have mercy on him) says that by « بينهما » he means the sins between the two prayers.
