Hadith 388
نا نا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الدَّوْرَقِيُّ ، نا هِشَامٌ ، عَنْ حَجَّاجٍ ، عَنْ عَوْنِ بْنِ أَبِي جُحَيْفَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، قَالَ : " رَأَيْتُ بِلالا يُؤَذِّنُ ، وَقَدْ جَعَلَ أُصْبُعَهُ فِي أُذُنَيْهِ وَهُوَ يَلْتَوِي فِي أَذَانِهِ يَمِينًا وَشِمَالا "
Sayyiduna Abu Juhaifah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that I saw Sayyiduna Bilal (may Allah be pleased with him) giving the adhan with both his fingers inserted in his ears, and during his adhan, he would turn to the right and to the left (that is, while saying « حَيَّ عَلَى الصَّلَاةِ » and « حَيَّ عَلَى الْفَلَاحِ »).
إِنْ صَحَّ الْخَبَرُ؛ فَإِنَّ هَذِهِ اللَّفْظَةَ لَسْتُ أَحْفَظُهَا إِلَّا عَنْ حَجَّاجِ بْنِ أَرْطَاةَ، وَلَسْتُ أَفْهَمُ أَسَمِعَ الْحَجَّاجُ هَذَا الْخَبَرَ مِنْ عَوْنِ بْنِ أَبِي جُحَيْفَةَ أَمْ لَا، فَأَشُكُّ فِي صِحَّةِ هَذَا الْخَبَرِ لِهَذِهِ الْعِلَّةِ
Provided that the hadith is authentic, because I have preserved these words only from Hajjaj bin Arta’ah. And I do not know whether Hajjaj heard this hadith from ‘Awn bin Abi Juhaifah or not. Therefore, I doubt the authenticity of this hadith due to this reason.
Hadith 388
إِنْ صَحَّ الْخَبَرُ؛ فَإِنَّ هَذِهِ اللَّفْظَةَ لَسْتُ أَحْفَظُهَا إِلَّا عَنْ حَجَّاجِ بْنِ أَرْطَاةَ، وَلَسْتُ أَفْهَمُ أَسَمِعَ الْحَجَّاجُ هَذَا الْخَبَرَ مِنْ عَوْنِ بْنِ أَبِي جُحَيْفَةَ أَمْ لَا، فَأَشُكُّ فِي صِحَّةِ هَذَا الْخَبَرِ لِهَذِهِ الْعِلَّةِ
Provided that the hadith is authentic, because I have preserved these words only from Hajjaj bin Arta’ah. And I do not know whether Hajjaj heard this hadith from ‘Awn bin Abi Juhaifah or not. Therefore, I doubt the authenticity of this hadith due to this reason.
