(229) بَابُ الزَّجْرِ عَنْ قَطْعِ الْبَوْلِ عَلَى الْبَائِلِ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ قَبْلَ الْفَرَاغِ مِنْهُ
Chapter 229: Warning against interrupting someone urinating in the mosque before he finishes
Hadith Q296
وَالدَّلِيلُ عَلَى أَنَّ صَبَّ دَلْوٍ مِنْ مَاءٍ يُطَهِّرُ الْأَرْضَ، وَإِنْ لَمْ يَحْفِرْ مَوْضِعَ الْبَوْلِ فَيَنْقُلُ تُرَابَهُ مِنَ الْمَسْجِدِ عَلَى مَا زَعَمَ بَعْضُ الْعِرَاقِيِّينَ، إِذِ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ أَنْعَمَ عَلَى عِبَادِهِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ بِأَنْ بَعَثَ فِيهِمْ نَبِيَّهُ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مُيَسِّرًا لَا مُعَسِّرًا
And the explanation of the evidence that pouring a bucket of water makes the ground pure, even if the place of urine is dug up and thrown outside the mosque, as is the opinion of some Iraqis (that the soil should be thrown outside the mosque), whereas Allah the Exalted has bestowed favor and kindness upon His believing servants by sending His Prophet (peace be upon him) as one who brings ease, not hardship.
Hadith 296
نا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدَةَ ، أَخْبَرَنَا حَمَّادٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ زَيْدٍ ، نا ثَابِتٌ ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ ، أَنَّ أَعْرَابِيًّا بَالَ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ ، فَوَثَبَ إِلَيْهِ بَعْضُ الْقَوْمِ ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " لا تُزْرِمُوهُ " ، ثُمَّ دَعَا بِدَلْوٍ مِنْ مَاءٍ فَصَبَّهُ عَلَيْهِ
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that a Bedouin urinated in the mosque. Some people rushed towards him (to scold and stop him), but the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Do not stop his urination." Then he called for a bucket of water and poured it over (the place).
Hadith 297
نا عُتْبَةُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْيَحْمَدِيُّ ، أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ ، أَخْبَرَنَا يُونُسُ ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنِي عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُتْبَةَ ، أَنَّ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ ، أَخْبَرَهُ ، أَنَّ أَعْرَابِيًّا بَالَ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ ، فَثَارَ النَّاسُ إِلَيْهِ لِيَمْنَعُوهُ ، فَقَالَ لَهُمْ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " دَعُوهُ ، أَهْرِيقُوا عَلَى بَوْلِهِ ذَنُوبًا مِنْ مَاءٍ ، أَوْ سَجْلا مِنْ مَاءٍ ، فَإِنَّمَا بُعِثْتُمْ مُيَسِّرِينَ ، وَلَمْ تُبْعَثُوا مُعَسِّرِينَ "
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that a Bedouin urinated in the mosque, so the people rushed towards him to stop him, but the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said to them: "Leave him, and pour a bucket full of water over his urine. Indeed, you have been sent to make things easy, not to make things difficult and harsh."
Hadith 298
نا عَبْدُ الْجَبَّارِ بْنُ الْعَلاءِ ، نا سُفْيَانُ ، قَالَ : حَفِظْتُهُ مِنَ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنِي سَعِيدٌ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ . ح وَحَدَّثَنَا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ بْنِ الْجَزَرِيِّ ، نا إِبْرَاهِيمُ يَعْنِي ابْنَ صَدَقَةَ ، قَالَ : نا سُفْيَانُ وَهُوَ ابْنُ حُصَيْنٍ ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ . ح وَحَدَّثَنَا الْمَخْزُومِيُّ ، نا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنْ سَعِيدٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، فَذَكَرُوا الْحَدِيثَ ، وَفِي حَدِيثِ سُفْيَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ ، قَالَ : " إِنَّ فِي دِينِكُمْ يُسْرًا "
The Imam has narrated the above-mentioned tradition through the chain of several of his teachers; in the narration of Sufyan bin Husain, it is stated that indeed there is ease in your religion.
