(228) بَابُ سَلْتِ الْمَنِيِّ مِنَ الثَّوْبِ بِالْإِذْخِرِ إِذَا كَانَ رَطْبًا
Chapter 228: Scraping semen from clothing with a plant if wet
Hadith 294
نا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ، نا مُعَاذٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ مُعَاذٍ الْعَنْبَرِيَّ ، نا عِكْرِمَةُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ الْيَمَامِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ اللَّيْثِيُّ ، قَالَ : قَالَتْ عَائِشَةُ : " كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَسْلُتُ الْمَنِيَّ مِنْ ثَوْبِهِ بِعِرْقِ الإِذْخِرِ ، ثُمَّ يُصَلِّي فِيهِ وَيَحُتُّهُ مِنْ ثَوْبِهِ يَابِسًا ، ثُمَّ يُصَلِّي فِيهِ " . نا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى ، نا أَبُو الْوَلِيدِ ، نا عِكْرِمَةُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ ، بِمِثْلِهِ , غَيْرُ أَنَّهُ قَالَ : " بِعِرْقِ الإذْخِرِ عَنْ ثَوْبِهِ وَيُصَلِّي فِيهِ " ، قَالَتْ : " وَكَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُبْصِرُهُ جَافًّا فَيَحُتُّهُ وَيُصَلِّي فِيهِ "
Lady Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) used to clean semen from his garment with the root of the Izkhir plant, and then he would perform prayer in that garment. And if it was dry, he would scrape it off his garment and then pray in it. The Imam reports from his teacher Muhammad bin Yahya’s chain of narration that the Prophet (peace be upon him) used to clean semen from his garment with the root of the Izkhir plant and then pray in it.
Hadith 295
نا مُحَمَّدٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ يَحْيَى ، نا أَبُو قُتَيْبَةَ ، نا عِكْرِمَةُ وَهُوَ ابْنُ عَمَّارٍ ، نا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ وَهُوَ ابْنُ عُبَيْدِ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، قَالَتْ : " كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا رَأَى الْجَنَابَةَ فِي ثَوْبِهِ جَافَّةً فَحَتَّهَا "
She says that when the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) saw it dry, he would scrape it off and would pray in that garment.
