جماع أبواب التيمم عند الإعواز من الماء فى السفر،Chapters on Tayammum when Water is Unavailable
(208) بَابُ ذِكْرِ الدَّلِيلِ عَلَى أَنَّ التَّيَمُّمَ ضَرْبَةٌ وَاحِدَةٌ لِلْوَجْهِ وَالْكَفَّيْنِ لَا ضَرْبَتَانِ، مَعَ الدَّلِيلِ عَلَى أَنَّ مَسْحَ الذِّرَاعَيْنِ فِي التَّيَمُّمِ غَيْرُ وَاجِبٍ
Chapter 208: Evidence that tayammum is one strike for face and hands, and wiping the arms is not obligatory
Hadith 266
نا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مَعْبَدٍ ، نا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ ، أَخْبَرَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنِ الْحَكَمِ ، عَنْ ذَرٍّ ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ عَمَّارِ بْنِ يَاسِرٍ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ فِي التَّيَمُّمِ : " ضَرْبَةٌ لِلْوَجْهِ وَالْكَفَّيْنِ "
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ammar bin Yasir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said regarding tayammum: "One strike is for the face and both hands."
Hadith 267
نا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، نا ابْنُ عُلَيَّةَ ، عَنْ سَعِيدٍ ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ ، عَنْ عَرَزَةَ ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبْزَى ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ عَمَّارِ بْنِ يَاسِرٍ ، عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي التَّيَمُّمِ ، قَالَ : " ضَرْبَةٌ لِلْوَجْهِ وَالْكَفَّيْنِ "
Sayyiduna Ammar bin Yasir (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates from the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) regarding tayammum that he (peace be upon him) said: "For the face and hands, there is only one strike." (One should strike the earth with the hands only once.)
