(186) بَابُ إِبَاحَةِ الِاغْتِسَالِ مِنَ الْقِصَاعِ، وَالْمَرَاكِنِ، وَالطَّاسِ
Chapter 186: Permissibility of bathing from large bowls, tubs, and basins
Hadith 238
نا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ الْمِقْدَامِ الْعِجْلِيُّ ، نا الْفُضَيْلُ بْنُ عِيَاضٍ ، حَدَّثَنِي مَنْصُورٌ وَهُوَ ابْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْحَجَبِيُّ ، حَدَّثَتْنِي أُمِّي ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، قَالَتْ : " كُنْتُ أُنَازِعُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الطَّسَّ الْوَاحِدَ نَغْتَسِلُ مِنْهُ "
Mother of the Believers, Lady Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates that while bathing from the same vessel, I used to pull the vessel away from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him).
Hadith 239
نا بُنْدَارٌ ، وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ ، قَالا : حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الأَعْلَى ، نا هِشَامُ بْنُ حَسَّانَ ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، قَالَتْ : " كَانَ يُوضَعُ لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَلِي هَذَا الْمِرْكَنُ ، فَنَشْرَعُ فِيهِ جَمِيعًا "
Sayyidah Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates that a tub (of water) used to be placed for the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) and me, then we would both begin (to take water from it and bathe) together.
Hadith 240
نا بُنْدَارٌ ، نا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ يَعْنِي ابْنَ مَهْدِيٍّ ، نا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ نَافِعٍ الْمَخْزُومِيُّ ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي نَجِيحٍ ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ ، عَنْ أُمِّ هَانِئٍ ، قَالَتْ : رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " اغْتَسَلَ هُوَ وَمَيْمُونَةُ مِنْ إِنَاءٍ وَاحِدٍ ، فِي قَصْعَةٍ فِيهَا أَثَرُ الْعَجِينِ "
Lady Umm Hani (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates that I saw the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) and Lady Maymunah (may Allah be pleased with her) performing ghusl (ritual bath) from the same large vessel, and there were traces of kneaded dough in it.
