جماع أبواب فضول التطهير والاستحباب من غير إيجابChapters on Recommended Purifications
(173) بَابُ ذِكْرِ الدَّلِيلِ عَلَى أَنَّ الْوُضُوءَ لِلْمُعَاوَدَةِ لِلْجِمَاعِ كَوُضُوءِ الصَّلَاةِ.
Chapter 173: Evidence that ablution before resuming intercourse is like prayer ablution
Hadith 220
نا سَعِيدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْمَخْزُومِيُّ ، نا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ عَاصِمٍ الأَحْوَلِ ، قَالَ : " إِذَا أَرَادَ أَحَدُكُمْ أَنْ يَعُودَ ، فَلْيَتَوَضَّأْ وُضُوءَهُ لِلصَّلاةِ " . يَعْنِي : الَّذِي يُجَامِعُ ثُمَّ يَعُودُ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَغْتَسِلَ
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "When any one of you intends to have intercourse again, he should perform ablution like the ablution for prayer, then have intercourse again before performing ghusl (full ritual bath)."
