جماع أبواب المسح على الخفينChapters on Wiping over Leather Socks
(157) بَابُ الرُّخْصَةِ فِي اسْتِعَانَةِ الْمُتَوَضِّئِ بِمَنْ يَصُبُّ عَلَيْهِ الْمَاءَ لِيتَطْهُرَ، خِلَافَ مَذْهَبِ مَنْ يَتَوَهَّمُ مِنَ أَنَّ هَذَا مِنَ الْكِبْرِ.
Chapter 157: Permission for someone to help pour water for another’s ablution, contrary to those who think it is arrogance
Hadith 203
نا يُونُسُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الأَعْلَى ، أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ ، أَخْبَرَنِي عَمْرُو بْنُ الْحَارِثِ ، أَنَّ ابْنَ شِهَابٍ أَخْبَرَهُ ، عَنْ عَبَّادِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ بْنِ الْمُغِيرَةِ بْنِ شُعْبَةَ ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَبَاهُ ، يَقُولُ : " سَكَبْتُ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ حِينَ تَوَضَّأَ فِي غَزْوَةِ تَبُوكَ فَمَسَحَ عَلَى الْخُفَّيْنِ "
It is narrated from Urwah bin Mughirah bin Shu'bah that he heard his respected father say: When the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) performed ablution during the Battle of Tabuk, I poured water over the limbs of ablution of the Prophet (ﷺ), and the Prophet (ﷺ) wiped over his leather socks.
