( 136) بَابُ التَّغْلِيظِ فِي غَسْلِ أَعْضَاءِ الْوُضُوءِ أَكْثَرَ مِنْ ثَلَاثٍ،
Chapter 136: Sternness in washing ablution parts more than three times
Hadith Q174
وَالدَّلِيلُ عَلَى أَنَّ فَاعِلَهُ مُسِيءٌ ظَالِمٌ أَوْ مُتَعَدٍّ ظَالِمٌ.
And the evidence that one who does so is a wrongdoer or an excessive wrongdoer.
Hadith 174
نا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الدَّوْرَقِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا الأَشْجَعِيُّ ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ ، عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ أَبِي عَائِشَةَ ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ : أَنَّ أَعْرَابِيًّا أَتَى النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فَسَأَلَهُ عَنِ الْوُضُوءِ ، فَتَوَضَّأَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ثَلاثًا ثَلاثًا ، فَقَالَ : " مَنْ زَادَ فَقَدْ أَسَاءَ وَظَلَمَ ، أَوِ اعْتَدَى وَظَلَمَ "
Amr bin Shu'aib narrates from his father, and he from his grandfather, that a Bedouin came to the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) and asked him about ablution. The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) performed ablution three times each, then said: "Whoever does more than this has done wrong and acted unjustly, or he has exceeded the limit and acted unjustly."
