Hadith Q166
And the explanation of the evidence that the one who wipes over the feet instead of washing them is deserving of the punishment of the Fire, except if Allah the Exalted forgives and pardons. We seek refuge with Allah the Exalted from His punishment.
Hadith 166
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that during one of our journeys, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) lagged behind us. Then he (peace be upon him) reached us, and the Asr prayer had made us hurry, so we were performing ablution quickly. We were wiping over our feet, so the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), seeing that we were wiping over our feet instead of washing them completely, said loudly two or three times: “Woe to the heels from the fire (of Hell)!” This is the hadith of Affan bin Muslim.
