Chapter 103: Virtue of the tooth-stick and purification of the mouth with it
Hadith 135
نا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ قَزَعَةَ بْنِ عُبَيْدٍ الْهَاشِمِيُّ ، نا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ حَبِيبٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ ، عَنْ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ أَبِي سُلَيْمَانَ ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، قَالَتْ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " السِّوَاكُ مَطْهَرَةٌ لِلْفَمِ ، مَرْضَاةٌ لِلرَّبِّ "
Sayyidah Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The miswak is a means of cleaning the mouth and attaining the pleasure of the Lord, the Exalted."
