Hadith 38
حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدَةَ الضَّبِّيُّ ، أَخْبَرَنَا حَمَّادٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ زَيْدٍ ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ عَطَاءٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " أَكَلَ عَظْمًا أَوْ قَالَ لَحْمًا ، ثُمَّ صَلَّى وَلَمْ يَتَوَضَّأْ " . قَالَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ : خَبَرُ حَمَّادِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ غَيْرُ مُتَّصِلِ الإِسْنَادِ ، غَلَطْنَا فِي إِخْرَاجِهِ ، فَإِنَّ بَيْنَ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ ، وَبَيْنَ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ عَطَاءٍ ، وَهْبُ بْنُ كَيْسَانَ . وَكَذَلِكَ رَوَاهُ يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الْقَطَّانُ ، وَعَبْدَةُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) ate bone or he said meat, then performed prayer and did not perform ablution (again). Abu Bakr (may Allah have mercy on him) says that the chain of narration of the report (hadith) of Hammad bin Zaid is not connected. And we have made a mistake in its narration. Indeed, between Hisham bin Urwah and Muhammad bin Amr bin Ata, the narrator is Wahb bin Kaysan. Similarly, this hadith has been narrated by Yahya bin Saeed and Abdah bin Sulayman.
Hadith 39
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ بُنْدَارٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى ، حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ . ح وَهِشَامٌ ، عَنْ وَهْبِ بْنِ كَيْسَانَ ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ عَطَاءٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ . ح وَهِشَامٌ ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَلِيِّ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " أَكَلَ خُبْزًا وَلَحْمًا أَوْ عِرْقًا ، ثُمَّ صَلَّى وَلَمْ يَتَوَضَّأْ "
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) ate bread and meat or bone, then performed prayer and did not perform (a new) ablution.
Hadith 40
حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الدَّوْرَقِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنِي وَهْبُ بْنُ كَيْسَانَ ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ عَطَاءٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ . ح قَالَ هِشَامٌ : وَحَدَّثَنِي الزُّهْرِيُّ ، عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ . ح قَالَ هِشَامٌ : وَحَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " أَكَلَ عَرْقًا ، ثُمَّ صَلَّى وَلَمْ يَتَوَضَّأْ " . هَذَا حَدِيثُ الزُّهْرِيِّ
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) ate bone, then performed prayer and did not perform ablution. This is the narration of Zuhri.
