(170) بَابُ ذِكْرِ أَخْبَارٍ غَلِطَ فِي الِاحْتِجَاجِ بِهَا بَعْضُ مَنْ لَمْ يُنْعِمِ النَّظَرَ فِي أَلْفَاظِ الْأَخْبَارِ،Chapter 170: Reports misunderstood by some who did not examine the wording carefully
Hadith Q622
وَلَمْ يَسْتَوْعِبْ أَخْبَارَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي الْقُنُوتِ، فَاحْتَجَّ بِهَا وَزَعَمَ أَنَّ الْقُنُوتَ فِي الصَّلَاةِ مَنْسُوخٌ مَنْهِيٌّ عَنْهُ.
And nor has he encompassed all the narrations from the Noble Prophet (peace be upon him) regarding Qunoot; rather, this person has deduced from these narrations and assumes that performing Qunoot in prayer is abrogated and prohibited.
