(83) بَابُ ذِكْرِ بَيَانِ إِغْفَالِ مَنْ زَعَمَ أَنَّ الدُّعَاءَ بِمَا لَيْسَ فِي الْقُرْآنِ غَيْرُ جَائِزٍ فِي الصَّلَاةِ الْمَكْتُوبَةِ،Chapter 83: Clarification of the error of those who claim that supplication not found in the Qur’an is not allowed in obligatory prayer
Hadith Q464
وَهَذَا الْقَوْلُ خِلَافُ سُنَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الثَّابِتَةِ، قَدْ دَعَا النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي أَوَّلِ صَلَاتِهِ وَوَسَطِهَا وَآخِرِهَا بِمَا لَيْسَ فِي الْقُرْآنِ.
And this statement is contrary to the established Sunnahs of the Prophet ﷺ. The Prophet ﷺ made supplications at the beginning of the prayer, during it, and at the end of the prayer, in addition to the Qur’anic supplications.
