(50) بَابُ ذِكْرِ الْخَبَرِ الْمُفَسِّرِ لِلَّفْظَةِ الْمُجْمَلَةِ الَّتِي ذَكَرْتُ أَنَّهَا لَفْظَةُ عَامٍّ مُرَادُهَا خَاصٌّChapter 50: Report explaining the ambiguous wording, which is general but meant specifically
Hadith Q397
وَالدَّلِيلِ عَلَى أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِنَّمَا أَمَرَ أَنْ يُؤَذِّنَ أَحَدُهُمَا لَا كِلَيْهِمَا
And the evidence for this is that the Prophet (peace be upon him) had ordered one of the two to give the adhan, and had not ordered both of them to give the adhan at the same time.
