(27) بَابُ ذِكْرِ الْخَبَرِ الدَّالِّ عَلَى الرُّخْصَةِ فِي النَّوْمِ قَبْلَ الْعِشَاءِ إِذَا أُخِّرَتِ الصَّلَاةُ،Chapter 27: Report indicating concession to sleep before Isha if the prayer is delayed
Hadith Q347
وَفِيهِ مَا دَلَّ عَلَى أَنَّ كَرَاهَةَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ النَّوْمَ قَبْلَهَا إِذَا لَمْ تُؤَخَّرْ.
In this is evidence that the dislike expressed by the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) regarding sleeping before ‘Isha is in the case when the prayer has not been delayed.
