(198) بَابُ ذِكْرِ الدَّلِيلِ عَلَى أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِنَّمَا صَلَّى الرَّكْعَتَيْنِChapter: Evidence that the Prophet prayed the two rak‘ahs (after tawaf)
Hadith Q2755
حِينَ عَمَدَ إِلَى مَقَامِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ خَلْفَ الْمَقَامِ، جَعَلَ الْمَقَامَ بَيْنَهُ وَبَيْنَ الْبَابِ، لَا أَنَّهُ وَقَفَ بَيْنَ يَدَيِ الْمَقَامِ وَلَا عَنْ يَمِينِهِ وَلَا عَنْ يَسَارِهِ
You placed the Maqam Ibrahim between yourself and the door of the Sacred House and performed the prayer. You did not stand in front of the Maqam Ibrahim, nor to its right or left side.
