(186) بَابُ ذِكْرِ الدَّلِيلِ عَلَى أَنَّ الْحَجَرَ إِنَّمَا يَشْهَدُ لِمَنِ اسْتَلَمَهُ بِالنِّيَّةِ دُونَ مَنِ اسْتَلَمَهُChapter: Evidence that the Black Stone will testify for those who touch it with intention
Hadith Q2737
نَاوِيًا بِاسْتِلَامِهِ طَاعَةَ اللَّهِ وَتَقَرُّبًا إِلَيْهِ، إِذِ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَدْ أَعْلَمَ أَنَّ لِلْمَرْءِ مَا نَوَى
Not for the one who touches it with the intention of obeying Allah and seeking His closeness, because the Noble Prophet (peace be upon him) has stated that a person will receive only that which he intended.
