(160) بَابُ كَرَاهِيَةِ الصَّدَقَةِ بِالْحَشَفِ مِنَ الثِّمَارِ،160 Subchapter: Dislike of giving poor-quality fruit in charity
Hadith Q2467
وَإِنْ كَانَتِ الصَّدَقَةُ تَطَوُّعًا، إِذِ الصَّدَقَةُ بِخَيْرِ الثِّمَارِ وَأَوْسَاطِهَا أَفْضَلُ مِنَ الصَّدَقَةِ بِشِرَارِهَا.
Even if it is voluntary charity, because giving charity from good and average quality fruit is better than giving charity from inferior fruit.
