جماع أبواب قسم الصدقات وذكر أهل سهمانهاChapters on Distribution of Zakat and its Recipients
(100) بَابُ إِعْطَاءِ الْإِمَامِ دِيَةَ مَنْ لَا يُعْرَفُ قَاتِلُهُ مِنَ الصَّدَقَةِ،100 Subchapter: Ruler giving blood money from charity for one whose killer is unknown
Hadith Q2384
وَهَذَا عِنْدِي مِنْ جِنْسِ الْحِمَالَةِ لِشَبَهٍ أَنْ يَكُونَ الْمُصْطَفَى صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ تُحُمِّلَ بِهَذِهِ الدِّيَةِ فَأَعْطَاهَا مِنْ إِبِلِ الصَّدَقَةِ
And this issue, in my view, pertains to the chapter of Hamalah (taking upon oneself the blood money or compensation of someone), because it is possible that the Prophet (peace be upon him) took this blood money upon himself and then paid it from the camels of zakat.
