جماع أبواب فضول التطهير والاستحباب من غير إيجابChapters on Recommended Purifications
(175) بَابُ فَضْلِ التَّهْلِيلِ وَالشَّهَادَةِ لِلنَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِالرِّسَالَةِ وَالْعُبُودِيَّةِ،Chapter 175: Virtue of saying “La ilaha illallah” and testifying to the Prophet’s message and servitude
Hadith Q222
وَأَنْ لَا يُطْرَى كَمَا أَطْرَتِ النَّصَارَى عِيسَى ابْنَ مَرْيَمَ، إِذَا شَهِدَ لَهُ بِالْعُبُودِيَّةِ مَعَ الشَّهَادَةِ لَهُ بِالرِّسَالَةِ عِنْدَ الْفَرَاغِ مِنَ الْوُضُوءِ.
And that after completing ablution, one should bear witness to the servitude and messengership of the Prophet (ﷺ), and should not exaggerate in his status as the Christians exaggerated in the status of ‘Isa ibn Maryam (peace be upon him).
