Hadith 190

Sayyiduna Mughirah bin Shu’bah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that I asked, “O Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), do you wipe over your leather socks?” He (peace and blessings be upon him) replied, “Yes, because I put them on while my feet were in a state of purity.”
And the explanation of the evidence that the concession of wiping over the leather socks is for the person who wore them after performing ablution, and not for the one who wore them without purification, without ablution.
