(703) بَابُ إِبَاحَةِ الْكَلَامِ فِي الْخُطْبَةِ بِالْأَمْرِ وَالنَّهْيِ،703| Permissibility of speaking in the sermon for commanding good and forbidding evil
Hadith Q1453
وَالدَّلِيلِ عَلَى ضِدِّ قَوْلِ مَنْ زَعَمَ أَنَّ الْخُطْبَةَ صَلَاةٌ، وَلَوْ كَانَتِ الْخُطْبَةُ صَلَاةً مَا تَكَلَّمَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِيهَا بِمَا لَا يَجُوزُ فِي الصَّلَاةِ
And the explanation of the evidence against the statement of the person who says that the sermon is like the prayer, and if the sermon were like the prayer, then the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, would not have spoken during the sermon in such a manner as is not permissible in prayer.
