(603) بَابُ النَّهْيِ عَنْ إِيطَانِ الرَّجُلِ الْمَكَانَ مِنَ الْمَسْجِدِ،The chapter on the prohibition of reserving a spot in the mosque
Hadith Q1319
وَفِي هَذَا مَا دَلَّ عَلَى أَنَّ الْمَسْجِدَ لِمَنْ سَبَقَ إِلَيْهِ، لَيْسَ أَحَدٌ أَحَقَّ بِمَوْضِعٍ مِنَ الْمَسْجِدِ مِنْ غَيْرِهِ قَالَ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ: وَأَنَّ الْمَسَاجِدَ لِلَّهِ (الْجِنِّ: 18).
And in this is evidence that the right to the mosque belongs to the one who comes to it first. No person has more right over any part of the mosque than another. Allah Almighty says: « وَأَنَّ الْمَسَاجِدَ لِلَّهِ » [ سورة الجن : 18 ] "Indeed, the mosques are for Allah."
